Coddi keeps the transcription mode visible and separates audio capture from the rest of the product. Local and cloud are choices with different boundaries — not one vague privacy promise.

Paid cloud transcription is a meeting setting. Audio goes directly from the desktop to the transcription provider, not through the Coddi backend.
